Supercharge your LLM agent with DevBrain MCP

anton

DevBrain MCP brings knowledge from select product development newsletters to AI.

About

When installed your LLM would use DevBrain MCP to search for software engineering related info, like when you are coding or doing product strategy research. DevBrain knowledge db is tuned for software and will not serve restaurant recomendations.

How does it work, really?

DevBrain MCP scans through newsletters that are all about indie development. When it finds a cool article, it only grabs the link (the URL) and the description. It doesn’t save the whole article. It indexes the description of the article so that it can be found when you search for related knowledge with LLMs.

For Content Publishers (Indie Devs like you!):

For Content Users (Developers looking for answers!): DevBrain’s db is a developer-opinionated brain dump consisting of thousands articles from select newsletters. MCP helps you quickly get the help you need, along with relevant code snippets and examples. It’s kind of like a web search, but specifically tuned for high-quality, developer-curated content.

Extending devBrain

You can even easily plug in your favorite newsletters to expand its knowledge base even further. This means that when you’re implementing feature “A”, AI/LLMs can quickly reference the solid knowledge base found in your blog, providing you with a strong foundation for your implementation.

DevBrain helps developers market itself

Fellow indie dev! Ever wished more people would stumble upon your awesome blog posts and articles? That’s exactly what DevBrain MCP can help with. Think of it as a friendly matchmaker for your content.

Don’t want to play along? No problem!

We totally get it if you’d rather keep your content to yourself (away from ai). If you don’t want DevBrain MCP to pick up your links, just add a robots.txt file to your website. It’s like putting a “do not disturb” sign on your digital door, and we totally respect that.

Why bother with DevBrain MCP?

Let’s face it, getting noticed in the indie dev world can be tough. DevBrain MCP helps cut through the noise. By letting us share your links, you’re essentially getting a free shout-out that brings curious readers directly to your wisdom. It’s a simple way to grow your audience and make your blog even more valuable.

And as a builder, you get access to select indie blogs with on-the-point code snippets and examples.
